Nissan has pulled the wraps off the all-new 2026 Nissan Rogue Plug-in Hybrid, signaling the brand’s entry into the U.S. plug-in hybrid market. Boasting an estimated 38 miles of all-electric range and a robust total driving range of up to 420 miles, the Rogue Plug-in Hybrid is engineered to meet the needs of today’s active families and commuters.
The vehicle made its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealerships nationwide in early 2026.
Powertrain: Electric Flexibility Meets Gasoline Confidence
The Rogue Plug-in Hybrid seamlessly blends two electric motors, a 20-kWh lithium-ion battery, and a 2.4-liter gasoline engine. This setup enables smooth transitions between all-electric operation for daily errands and the extended range of a hybrid system for longer journeys. Total system output stands at 248 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, offering quicker acceleration compared to the standard Rogue. Notably, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is standard on all trims, ensuring confident performance in various conditions.

Inside, the Rogue Plug-in Hybrid features a 9-inch touchscreen with standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. The 12.3-inch digital driver’s display comes standard, while Platinum models gain a 10-inch head-up display and a nine-speaker Bose® premium sound system for an elevated audio experience. Wireless charging, multiple USB ports, and dual 120V outlets (Platinum grade) keep devices powered for every adventure.
