Stellantis is making connected vehicle technology more accessible for U.S. drivers with a significant update to its connected services lineup for the 2027 model year. The automaker is expanding the standard 10-year Connect One package by adding remote engine start and stop functionality through its mobile app while also reducing the monthly price of its premium Wi-Fi Plus subscription. The changes apply across most Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT, and Alfa Romeo vehicles, giving owners more convenience and value without increasing ownership costs.
Remote Engine Start Now Included for 10 Years
One of the biggest upgrades for the 2027 model year is the addition of remote engine start and stop to the standard Connect One package. Owners will be able to start or shut off their vehicles directly from the official brand smartphone app, making it easier to prepare their vehicle before driving in extreme weather conditions.
Whether it’s warming up the cabin during a freezing winter morning or cooling it down during a scorching summer afternoon, the feature is now included at no additional cost for most eligible 2027 models.
The Connect One package remains available for 10 years after vehicle purchase, making it one of the longest complimentary connected service offerings in the industry.
Connect One Includes More Than Remote Start
Beyond remote engine control, Connect One offers a wide range of connected features designed to improve convenience, safety, and vehicle maintenance.
Drivers receive:
- Remote door lock and unlock
- Over-the-air software updates
- Monthly vehicle health reports
- Vehicle health and recall notifications
- Easy service scheduling
- Automatic SOS emergency calls
- The ability to remotely erase personal data
- Access to in-vehicle games through the App Market
The services are accessible through compatible smartphones, smartwatches, and connected vehicle apps.
Lower Monthly Price for Connect Wi-Fi Plus
Stellantis is also making its premium connected package more affordable.
Beginning with the 2027 model year, the Connect Wi-Fi Plus subscription will cost $15.99 per month, representing a $2 monthly reduction.
Customers who activate the service within 30 days of purchasing their new vehicle will also receive a three-month free trial.
The subscription includes:
- Unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot data
- Internet access for up to eight connected devices
- Remote horn activation and flashing lights
- Stolen vehicle assistance
- Vehicle theft alerts
- Vehicle location services
- Connected navigation with advanced route planning
- Fuel station finder
- Parking locator
- Last-mile navigation
- Dynamic EV range mapping (where applicable)
- Speed camera alerts
The reduced pricing makes the premium package more competitive while expanding the value of Stellantis’ connected ecosystem.

Some 2027 vehicles receive additional connected service benefits.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Jeep Wagoneer S include:

New Alfa Romeo models also receive:

Meanwhile, the Jeep Compass and Dodge Durango, which continue using the SiriusXM Guardian platform, receive:

- 10 years of Vehicle Performance services

Expanded SiriusXM Options
Stellantis is also enhancing the entertainment experience for 2027 buyers.
Dealers can now order vehicles with a three-year SiriusXM Extended Service subscription bundled into the vehicle’s MSRP at a discounted rate.
In addition, the new FlexCare Sounds Powered by SiriusXM program allows customers to add a three-year SiriusXM subscription through the dealership’s Finance & Insurance office for up to 75 days after purchasing their vehicle.
Nearly every 2027 Stellantis vehicle sold in the United States will come factory-equipped with SiriusXM hardware and include a three-month trial subscription.
Connected Cars Continue to Grow in Importance
As software becomes an increasingly important part of vehicle ownership, automakers are placing greater emphasis on connected services that deliver real-world convenience instead of simply adding technology for technology’s sake.
By expanding its complimentary 10-year Connect One package and lowering the price of premium connectivity, Stellantis is strengthening the value proposition for buyers across multiple brands. The addition of remote engine start to the standard package is likely to be one of the most appreciated upgrades, especially for drivers living in regions with extreme seasonal temperatures.
