Chevrolet is celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States with the launch of the Stars & Steel Collection, a curated series of special vehicles designed to showcase purpose-driven patriotism and American craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from modernized elements of the American flag, every model in the collection is assembled in the United States using a combination of U.S. and globally sourced parts, underscoring the brand’s commitment to domestic manufacturing and innovation.
Chevy notes that its broad product portfolio helps it serve a wide range of American households, with nearly 87% of Americans living within 10 miles of a Chevrolet dealership. The brand frames the Stars & Steel initiative as a natural extension of its long-standing presence in the U.S. market, where it has called the country home for nearly 115 years.
Five-Model Special Edition Range for 2026
The Stars & Steel Collection will span five core nameplates in Chevrolet’s 2026 lineup: Corvette, Silverado EV, Silverado Light Duty, Silverado Heavy Duty and Colorado. Each will be offered as an exclusive special edition or appearance package, featuring coordinated exterior and interior color combinations, American flag-inspired graphics, and select premium content that emphasizes a patriotic theme.
Scott Bell, vice president of Global Chevrolet, said the collection celebrates a “key milestone for the country” that not only gave birth to the Chevrolet brand but has remained its home for over a century. He added that each Stars & Steel vehicle “honors the rich legacy of our nation” while highlighting Chevrolet’s U.S. assembly footprint.
Corvette Stars & Steel: 250-Unit Limited Edition
At the heart of the collection is the Corvette Stars & Steel Limited Edition, capped at just 250 units across the full Corvette range, from Stingray to ZR1X. Offered only on 3LT/3LZ trims in both coupe and convertible body styles, the limited edition gives buyers a choice of Arctic White with a Santorini Blue interior or Black with an Adrenaline Red interior.
Each Corvette Stars & Steel model receives full-length, American flag-inspired stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black, along with “250” flag graphics on the doors and spoiler ends where equipped. The package also brings unique sill plates and an interior plaque with build sequence number, multiple wheel finishes including available carbon fiber, red performance accents such as Edge Red calipers and seat belts, and black exhaust tips with model-specific accessories.
Silverado EV Interprets Stars & Steel Electrically
The Chevrolet Silverado EV Stars & Steel Special Edition will be offered on the RST Crew Cab trim, providing an all-electric expression of the patriotic design theme. Customers can choose Summit White or Black exterior paint paired with a Sky Cool Gray interior and bucket seats.
Distinctive content includes American flag-inspired stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black with “250” flag graphics, 24-inch high-gloss black wheels and an all-new Brembo heavy-duty brake system with red six-piston front calipers and larger 15.7-inch rotors for improved pedal feel and fade resistance. Black nameplates complete the stealthy, high-contrast look.
Silverado Light Duty: Performance and Presence
The Silverado Light Duty Stars & Steel Special Edition will be available on the RST Crew Cab Short Box 4WD with a 6.2L engine, finished in either Summit White or Black with a Jet Black interior. Like the rest of the collection, it wears Satin Silver or Satin Black American flag-inspired striping with “250” graphics.
Equipment highlights include 22-inch high-gloss black wheels, a Brembo performance brake system with red six-piston front calipers, black exhaust tips, and a performance air intake. The truck also adds 6-inch black rectangular assist steps, a Protection Package with spray-on bedliner and wheelhouse liners, Dark Essentials blacked-out badging, a soft roll bed cover with logo, plus Convenience Package II and a sunroof.
Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty: Trail-Ready Patriot
On the heavy-duty side, the Silverado HD Stars & Steel Special Edition will be built on the LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss 4WD, powered by a 6.6L Duramax diesel engine. Buyers will be able to select Summit White or Black paint combined with a Black interior and bucket seats, along with Satin Silver or Satin Black flag-inspired striping and “250” graphics.
This HD package layers in the Trail Boss Package with spray-in bedliner, 20-inch high-gloss black wheels, the Z71 Off-Road Package, and LTZ Convenience Package II. It further includes off-road high-clearance assist steps, LTZ Plus Package, a power sunroof, the Max Trailering Package with gooseneck/5th wheel prep, a soft roll bed cover, and a comprehensive floor liner package.
Colorado Stars & Steel: Midsize with Attitude, from Chevrolet
The Colorado Stars & Steel Special Edition focuses on the Trail Boss Crew Cab configuration, pairing a 2.7L engine with 4WD and offering Summit White or Black exterior paint over a Black interior with bucket seats. As with other models, it carries Satin Silver or Satin Black American flag-inspired striping and “250” graphics.
The midsize truck gains a Midnight Package with sport bar and light bar, Dark Essentials badging, and 20-inch high-gloss black wheels. Additional content includes Convenience Package 2, Technology Package, skid plates, a black exhaust tip, red tow hooks, black rocker protectors, spray-on bedliner, a soft roll bed cover, and floor liners.
Charitable Focus and Public Debut
Beyond design, the Stars & Steel initiative is tied directly to support for veterans and military families. Chevrolet will donate 250 dollars to nonprofits serving the veteran community for every Stars & Steel vehicle sold.
A one-of-one 2026 Corvette ZR1X with Stars & Steel-inspired design will cross the block at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Winter Auction on Saturday, January 24, 2026, with 100% of the hammer price benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports fallen first responders and injured veterans with mortgage-free homes and financial assistance. The full Stars & Steel Collection will make its public debut at the Army–Navy Game presented by USAA at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Production Timing and Availability
Each vehicle in the Stars & Steel Collection will be assembled in the United States, reflecting Chevy’s emphasis on domestic production while acknowledging the use of both U.S. and globally sourced components. The collection’s “Stars and Steel” name refers to a design theme built around dark metallic finishes and celestial accents rather than literal steel construction.
Production across the lineup is scheduled to begin in early spring 2026, with detailed package pricing to be announced at a later date. Additional information on the Stars & Steel Collection and Chevrolet’s broader celebration of America’s 250th anniversary will be available through Chevrolet’s official channels and dedicated anniversary website.
