Historic Night for Heim and Toyota

Corey Heim, Toyota Development Driver, clinched his first NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) championship after a stunning victory in the season finale at Phoenix Raceway on November 3, 2025. This marks not only a milestone in Heim’s young career but also Toyota’s 10th driver’s title in the Truck Series, solidifying their legacy in the motorsports world.

Record-Breaking Season and Unmatched Performance

Heim’s journey to the championship was nothing short of extraordinary, collecting a record-setting 12 wins in a single season, including dominant performances at iconic tracks such as Daytona International Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, and more. His No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro TRICON Garage team also secured 19 top-five finishes, 21 top-10 finishes, and seven pole positions. Heim’s season set new records for stage points in a regular season (65) and stage wins (23), and he now ranks second all-time in Toyota’s Truck Series victories, trailing only Kyle Busch.

Highlights and Career Development

Beyond winning the championship, Heim continued to excel across NASCAR’s top series. He made four starts in the NASCAR Cup Series with 23XI Racing, highlighted by his first career top-10 finish at the famed Bristol night race. Heim also started three Xfinity Series races with Sam Hunt Racing, achieving an eighth-place finish at Bristol. As the 23-year-old Georgia native celebrates his achievements, he joins an elite group of Tundra drivers who have brought home Truck Series titles for Toyota, including Ben Rhodes, Brett Moffitt, Christopher Bell, and others.

Toyota’s Commitment to Racing Excellence

Toyota’s presence in NASCAR remains strong, with a total of 248 wins since joining the NCTS in 2004. Their 14th Manufacturers’ Championship in 2025 underscores their ongoing dedication to supporting drivers and teams striving for greatness. With Corey Heim’s rapid ascent and Toyota’s continued investment in talent development and advanced automotive technology, the future of NASCAR promises even more thrilling chapters ahead.
