Kia America and its nationwide dealer network raised more than $4.7 million for nonprofit organizations across the United States in 2025 through the automaker’s Accelerate the Good Dealer Match program. Now in its fifth year, the initiative continues to expand Kia’s support for children’s health, hunger relief, veterans, disaster recovery efforts, and community-based charitable organizations.

A Nationwide Effort Built Around Local Communities

Kia America’s Accelerate the Good Dealer Match program brings together the automaker and its network of nearly 800 dealerships across the country.

Through the initiative, Kia matches qualifying charitable donations made by participating dealers, helping dealerships increase their financial impact within the communities they serve.

The structure of the program allows local dealers to support causes that are especially important in their own regions. Rather than directing all funding through a single national organization, the initiative combines large-scale corporate support with locally selected charitable partnerships.

That approach has helped Kia and its dealers build relationships with nonprofit groups addressing a wide variety of social and economic challenges across the United States.

More Than $4.7 Million Raised in 2025

The 2025 Dealer Match program generated more than $4.7 million in total donations for nonprofit organizations nationwide.

The result represents another major milestone for Accelerate the Good, which has grown steadily since its introduction five years ago.

Kia’s latest fundraising total reflects both direct financial contributions and the participation of dealers throughout the country. By matching eligible donations, Kia helps extend the reach of individual dealership contributions and delivers additional support to organizations that depend heavily on private funding.

The program also demonstrates how automotive retailers can play an important role outside the showroom by supporting healthcare services, food assistance programs, military families, youth organizations, and emergency relief efforts.

Major Support for St. Jude and No Kid Hungry

Two of the largest recipients of the 2025 campaign were St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and No Kid Hungry.

Each organization received more than $1.5 million through the program.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital provides treatment and conducts research focused on childhood cancer and other serious pediatric diseases. Financial support helps the organization continue its medical research and patient-care programs while reducing the financial burden placed on families.

No Kid Hungry works to address childhood hunger by connecting children with school meals, summer food programs, and other nutrition resources.

By supporting both organizations, Kia and its dealers are directing significant funding toward two of the most urgent issues affecting children and families in the United States: access to medical care and access to nutritious food.

Local Nonprofits Also Received Significant Funding

Although national organizations received a large share of the funding, the Dealer Match program also supported a broad range of local and regional nonprofits.

Participating dealerships were able to identify organizations working directly within their communities and provide funding based on local priorities.

Recipients included children’s hospitals, food banks, homeless shelters, disaster response groups, youth development organizations, military charities, and animal welfare programs.

Among the organizations supported through Kia’s broader charitable activities were the American Red Cross, Operation Homefront, Feeding South Florida, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Covenant House, Toys for Tots, Angel Wings for Veterans, and the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation.

The diversity of the participating nonprofits illustrates the wide scope of the program and the different challenges faced by communities across the country.

Helping Children, Families, and Veterans

A major focus of Accelerate the Good has been supporting vulnerable children and families.

Donations have helped fund pediatric healthcare, educational opportunities, food assistance, emergency housing, and youth development programs.

The initiative has also supported military members, veterans, and their families through organizations that provide financial assistance, housing resources, transportation, and other essential services.

Veterans’ organizations often rely on private donations to supplement government programs and help former service members manage the transition to civilian life.

Kia’s support of these programs reflects a broader effort to recognize the needs of military communities while providing practical assistance at the local and national levels.

Disaster Relief Remains an Important Priority

Disaster response and recovery organizations have also benefited from Kia’s charitable initiatives.

Natural disasters can create immediate demand for temporary housing, food, medical assistance, transportation, and rebuilding support. Nonprofits frequently play a critical role during the early stages of emergency response and throughout the longer recovery process.

By providing financial contributions to organizations involved in disaster relief, Kia and its dealerships help communities recover from hurricanes, wildfires, floods, storms, and other emergencies.

Local dealership participation can be especially valuable during these situations because dealers often have direct knowledge of the needs within their own regions.

Kia Employees Participate Through Volunteer Work

Kia America’s community involvement extends beyond financial donations.

Employees also participated in volunteer projects throughout the year, supporting nonprofit organizations through hands-on activities.

These efforts included assisting food pantries, organizing clothing drives, participating in beach cleanups, and assembling art kits for children receiving hospital care.

Volunteer activities allow employees to contribute directly to the communities where they live and work while building stronger connections with local organizations.

The combination of financial support and employee participation gives Kia’s charitable strategy a broader impact than donations alone.

A Broader Commitment to Corporate Responsibility

Accelerate the Good is part of Kia America’s wider environmental and social responsibility strategy.

The automaker has also supported educational scholarships, environmental conservation programs, ocean cleanup efforts, animal welfare organizations, and programs serving underserved communities.

These initiatives are designed to align the company’s growth in the U.S. automotive market with a long-term commitment to social responsibility.

As consumers increasingly evaluate companies based on their environmental and community impact, programs such as Accelerate the Good have become an important part of how major corporations build public trust.

For Kia, the program also creates a direct link between the company, its dealers, customers, employees, and nonprofit partners.

Dealerships Can Make a Meaningful Local Impact

Automotive dealerships are often deeply connected to the communities they serve.

Many dealers operate in the same regions for decades, employ local residents, sponsor community events, and develop long-term relationships with schools, charities, and civic organizations.

The Dealer Match program gives these businesses an opportunity to increase the value of their charitable contributions.

When Kia matches a dealership’s donation, the nonprofit receives more funding without requiring the local dealer to carry the entire financial responsibility.

This model encourages greater participation and allows smaller organizations to benefit from the resources of a major international automaker.

More Than an Automotive Initiative

Kia’s latest fundraising milestone shows how a nationwide dealership network can be used to support causes far beyond vehicle sales and customer service.

The more than $4.7 million raised in 2025 will help nonprofit organizations provide healthcare, food, shelter, education, emergency assistance, and other essential services to people across the country.

For Kia America, Accelerate the Good has become more than a temporary charitable campaign. It is now an established part of the company’s U.S. operations and its relationship with dealers and local communities.

As the program continues to grow, its combination of national funding and local decision-making could deliver an even greater impact in the years ahead.
